4000 Drinking Water System Sales

"I have been using and consequently, selling Multipure since 1996. I had gotten my first apartment and needed a great water filter. It just so happened that one of my co-workers at a restaurant happened to be a Multipure distributor. I have always been one to research items before I purchase them, so despite her enthusiasm, I looked it up…and I was impressed with the NSF listings and the 90 day guarantee sealed the deal! After using my system (an SSCT) for a few days, I would not imagine being without it or buying bottled water again. I also (key point) could not imagine ANYONE not wanting one! I went to town, well…door to door, anyway, in my apartment complex. I knocked on doors, most of which were unanswered, left flyers, offered free demonstration units to use for a few days. I made one sale to a neighbor who did not want to part with the demo unit after realizing how great it was. I did not give up. I found that the more people that knew that I sold Multipure, the more chances I had to make a sale. I changed my answering machine message to say at the end, “and if you are calling about Multipure Drinking Water Systems, leave a message and I’ll answer your questions.” I got an accidental sale on that one. Every sale was a new motivation for that day. This was too easy! It takes a while to build any business, but I was “Jonesing” for more commissions. You may have heard the term “keeping up with the Joneses,” and hey…my last name is also Jones, and they let me name the award. I encourage you all to keep up with this Jones. Let people know about Multipure that you never thought would be a customer. Change your answering machine or voicemail. Answer work calls at night and on the weekends. It all takes time, but it’s worth it. The most important thing about any business is the product. I would like to thank everyone at Multipure for putting out such a great product with a great guarantee that I don’t have to worry about customers returning. I don’t have my old countertop model anymore. I donated that to my daughter’s school when she was in kindergarten and got myself a fancy below sink model 750…followed by another and another, each time I moved. I am living the dream of having my own business and I am grateful that Multipure is such a big part of it!"

Builder Of The Year • Ahlem Mayes

Each year Multipure recognizers top leaders from around the country. Each month we will feature one of these super achievers. This month we are proud to spotlight our Builder Of They Year. Like most health minded consumers, looking for clean drinking water, I unknowingly was using water filter systems that lacked the international independent third party NSF certifications.

Many years ago, I was introduced to USA water filters and after that New Wave Enviro water filters. Then the water filtration industry tripled but, I soon realized their filters didn’t have the NSF and WQA certifications to back their filtration claims.
