Hydration, Hydration, Hydration

Summer may be over, and fall beginning, but hydration is important year-round for people of all ages. Often times we get so busy with life we forget about the simple things like drinking water. On average a person needs 50% of their body weight in ounces of water each day to stay properly hydrated. That means a 160 pound person needs to drink 80 ounces of water a day, and that number goes up if it’s hot or you are active. So, remember to have a glass of great tasting Multipure water throughout the day to help your body perform at its best.

Back To School - Hydration

Kids are back at school, and they need to drink delicious Multipure water during the day to keep their body and brain hydrated. Did you know your brain is 75% water? Being even slightly dehydrated can affect a child’s performance in school. Dehydration can cause children to lose focus or feel tired while they are in class. Be sure to send your child Multipure water in a reusable container so they can stay hydrated while at school.

Senior Citizens - Hydration

We have an aging population. In the United States it is estimated 1 in 6 people are over the age of 65, and as people age, they are at increased risk of dehydration.

Being dehydrated is a very real issue with older adults, as their bodies have less water than they did when they were younger. So even slightly reducing the amount of water in their body can lead to serious consequences: kidney issues, joint pain, dizziness, headache, and confusion.

Having a reusable bottle of Multipure water is a great way for them to stay hydrated and keep track of how much water they drink in a day.

Toddlers and Drinking Water

Water is one of the most important parts of a child’s diet. Having enough water each day will help them keep their bowels moving, prevent urinary tract infections and even regulate their body temperature. When they do not have enough water, it can make them lethargic and even fussy. Like adults, children should drink ½ their body weight in ounces of water. And what kind of water is best for children? Contaminant free, MULTIPURE WATER!
