I really like the option to utilize the single-hose & diverter valve that's linked to the spout, to utilize on the counter. And, that Multipure has this hose/diverter valve available on their website under accessories to purchase individually. It's a nice set up for the countertop units and I prefer the single hose over the dual hose option. ; )
