This spring, Multipure’s Pure Foundation helped children and families in San Francisco receive the cleaner water they need to heal and thrive. On April 30, 2015, generous Multipure corporate and Distributor volunteers worked with the Pure Foundation to deliver and install Multipure Drinking Water Systems throughout the Edgewood Center for Children and Families.

By providing Edgewood with free drinking water systems and lifetime filter replacements, Multipure’s Pure Foundation offers better water for better health, and works to improve Edgewood’s treatment capabilities by eliminating the financial burden of purchased bottled water and leased water coolers. In addition, volunteers for the Pure Foundation not only delivered and installed Multipure Drinking Water Systems and coolers, but also taught the importance of hydration and provided an outdoor lunch for the volunteers, staff, children, and families at the Edgewood Center.

Founded in 1851, the Edgewood Center for Children and Families is the oldest children’s charity in the western United States. From its inception, Edgewood has provided treatment and prevention aid to thousands of children and families dealing with learning disabilities, mental illness, and behavioral issues caused by traumatic stress. Edgewood is an independent organization, funded in large part through private charitable contributions and public service fees. It is through the hard work of volunteers and generous donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations that Edgewood has made possible their invaluable treatment and care programs.
