Companies with NSF certified products get rigorously tested by this independent and accredited organization to make sure their products are safe and healthy.
Consumers sometimes assume that all water contaminants are ones that are harmful to your health. This is not the case. The contaminants treated under NSF/ANSI 42 may not necessarily have negative consequences to your health, but they still remain undesirable.
