Multi-Pure contributes to the solution, not the problem!

Multi-Pure has been an environmentally-friendly company, offering "green" products long before it was fashionable! For nearly 40 years, Multi-Pure has tried very hard to be a solution, rather than contribute to the problem.

For several years, Multi-Pure has had a "Green Team", consisting of corporate executives, independent distributors, and customers who work on new ideas to help make the company and our products even better for planet Earth.

We are now accepting applications for more members who can enhance our team. Team members are required to attend a monthly teleconference, as well as take turns creating the agenda and develop new projects.

Multi-Pure's Order Processing Department is always happy to serve you!

Here's some great news to be really proud of!

Yesterday afternoon, Patricia in our Order Processing Department, received the 4,000,000th order for Multi-Pure! Wow, that's a lot of 0's!

How wonderful it is to think that Multi-Pure has truly helped MILLIONS of people to have safer drinking water! Not only safer, but also much more affordable than bottled water and without dumping all of that plastic into the landfills!

Providing pure water to everyone is Multi-Pure's top priority!

Temperatures get ridiculously high in Las Vegas in the summer and Multi-Pure doesn’t want anyone to go without clean water.

During the hot summer months, a large banner on our corporate headquarters invites passersby to come into our building and fill up their containers in our beautiful, new test kitchen! Guests bring in their own containers and can fill up to 10 gallons a day for FREE during visitor hours between 10 am and 3 pm.

Multi-Pure’s FREE water program runs from June 1 through September 1.

Multi-Pure's Public Exhibit Program is a unique program that you will not find with any other company. Multi-Pure will give distributors FREE Sales Aids when they participate in a Public Exhibit (Home Show, Flea Market, Swap Meeting, Green Expo)!

This is our way to support your efforts at this event. You will receive 20% on your registration fee no matter what it may be. Example: You pay $100 for a weekend space at a swap meet. Multi-Pure will give you $20 in Free Sales aids!

You can use this credit to help you obtain items to decorate your booth (posters, banners) and give yourself a more professional appearance (Multi-Pure polos or t-shirts), or use this credit for sales material to distribute to interested prospects (brochures and forms).

This 20% credit may be used towards the purchase of sales materials, limited to the following:

Drinking Water Units, Filters, or other products may not be included in the 20% Multi-Pure contribution. No exceptions.

Multi-Pure has several filters that can be used in an emergency by simply connecting a tube and running a gravity syphon!

While the news cycle has moved on to other important issues, Multi-Pure water filters are still hard at work in Haiti. A terrible earthquake devastated the beautiful island back in January, but citizens are still coping with life's basic necessities, such as shelter, food and water.

One of Multi-Pure's independent distributors, Victor Catolico, is a nurse with AMURT, one of the many organizations that received donated Multi-Pure water filters to help serve those in the affected area. Over 500 drinking water systems were shipped to Haiti.

Victor hand-delivered some emergency filters by carrying them in his suitcase on one of the first island-bound airplanes after the earthquake struck!

Victor is just one of the amazing Multi-Pure independent distributors who do much to improve drinking water for people all over the globe. We were so thrilled to be able to work with him and proud of his generous soul. He and his organization, AMURT, continue to help the people of Haiti, as well as others.

California waterways receive terrible rating

Think you DON'T need a water filter? Think again!

According to a new state list of polluted waterways, more than 90% of Californians live within 10 miles of a severely polluted waterway. The State Water Resources Control Board is required to create a list of seriously polluted water bodies every two years, known as the “303(d) list,” after Section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act.

The list is compiled based on water quality monitoring data that show which waters are too polluted for activities that Californians used to be able to enjoy, such as fishing, swimming, boating or surfing. Today, the State Water Board is expected to formally adopt the 2008/2010 303(d) list, which shows that more than 1,700 California beaches, rivers, lakes, and coastal waters are severely polluted, or “impaired.”

“The new list reflects a staggering water pollution problem in California,” says California Coastkeeper Alliance’s Tom Lyons, who has spent the last several months analyzing the 303(d) list, creating maps of impaired waterways, and training communities throughout California about the listing process. He adds, “It shows just how far California is from realizing the Clean Water Act’s promise of fishable, swimmable, drinkable waterways almost four decades after the Act was signed into law.”

Wow, what a terrific week I had last week! Did ya miss me? (wink)

I represented Multi-Pure at the Direct Sellers Convention in San Francisco for their 100th anniversary celebration. It was absolutely outstanding. What a wonderful organization and what a thrill it is to belong to an industry that truly changes people's lives for the better. Network marketing companies create great products that improve people's daily lives, but more importantly, they provide real opportunities to earn a living in these tough economic times and live the American dream.

From there I then flew down to Los Angeles where I hosted a Multi-Pure distributor meeting. The conference room was packed with old-timers, newbies, and palpable enthusiam! We're so proud of the fact that our customers and distributors have been using our products for almost 40 years and that they continue to eagerly talk to their friends about our amazing business opportunity.

We're hosting another meeting this Thursday (June 17), here at Corporate headquarters at 10:00 am. Lessons learned from the Dave Matthews Band can help grow your Multi-Pure business!

I network with other network marketers from other companies and always learn new things that can apply to Multi-Pure. This morning I read a fun blog by Philip Blackett and he makes some really good points that I wanted to share with you:

"Have you run into trouble building and sustaining a team that grows with you? When it comes to network marketing, each of us wants to build a team for the long-term, not only to build more monthly residual income but also to help more people accomplish their dreams as well with you. However, for a number of reasons, building such a solid team with little attrition can be a challenge for some.

I want to introduce you to the Dave Matthews Band, who I use as a model in building my team. DMB has been playing together for almost 20 years to much success (look them up). Remember, success leaves clues for others to follow.

Here are SEVEN ways that the Dave Matthews Band shows how to build a solid MLM team:

1) They all work with a common mission in mind

DMB makes it their mission to play their best music so that their fans have the most amazing LIVE experience possible that they will remember for years to come. They all think with the same mindset towards a common goal. Is YOUR team working together to accomplish a common mission? What is that mission?

2) Everyone has a specialty that they focus on and appreciate each other’s differences.

No one feels compelled or pressured to learn the other person’s craft. They each focus on being the best they can be with what they have, so they can collectively be their best when they put their pieces together. When it comes to YOUR team, you may have some people who focus on one-on-one presentations while others want to market on Facebook. If you’re good in article marketing, you shouldn’t be forced to learn Twitter if that is not your thing. As a team, learn to appreciate other’s differences, encourage them to be the best at it, and to bring them all together as one.

Deanna DeLong, Multi-Pure's Network Builder of the Year in 2009, has created some wonderful material to help independent distributors build their business, including a terrific flip chart entitled "Drink Water for Life".
