I thought I'd share some more great advice from some more of our top distributors today! They are Rick and Patti Wilson, Founders' Circle Members who live in Florida. Their big tip is … Keep it Simple! Here is what they had to say:
Step 1: Tell everyone you meet about the great products and opportunity Multi-Pure has to offer.
Step 2: Help them put cash in their pocket and drink healthier water by getting their own Multi-Pure.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 & 2.

Multi-Pure is a BEST BUY! Great News!
Consumers Digest has selected our Aqua Dome unit to be a BEST BUY in their August 2009 issue!
This is the 3rd time in the past several years that a Multi-Pure system has been selected for this prestigious honor!
The comments they made about the Aqua Dome are as follows:
"The Aqua Dome's three-stage filtration process means that it filters water as effectively as most premium models do but at half the cost. This unit also has the best warranty that is on the market, particularly its 90-day money back guarantee. A 3-foot dual hose allows you to push this countertop model out of the way while you get filtered water from your tap faucet."
A Best Buy rating is awarded to fewer than 3% of the competing models in any given industry. A product that receives this achievement is recognized by the Consumers Digest editors as having exceptional value in today's highly competitive marketplace.
Be sure to get your copy of this very informative article. This article will appear in the Consumers Digest August 2009 issue and it should be available beginning mid July.

Multi-Pure distributors having fun at their booth Now that the weather is warmer, we've been getting lots of phone calls from distributors asking for ideas on how to set up a Multi-Pure booth at swap meets, fairs, festivals, and expos.
There are as many different ways to put together a Multi-Pure booth as there are distributors. They can range from formal, indoor booths at a convention, to casual tables at a neighborhood flea market. Some have snazzy, professional posters and displays, while others are quite simple. Whatever works for YOU is the best way to do it!
We've started gathering some photographs for a web page we're creating to help show distributors lots of possibilities for the design of their booths. Whether you've taken a picture of a booth years ago or just recently, we'd love to see them! Please email jpg files of photographs to tboice@multipure.com We'll include them on our page so all of our distributors can be inspired by your creativity.
On our web page in the Business Guide section of our web site we'll also include some helpful tips, as well as suggest various items you might want to include with your booth.
The most important tip I could give you right now is to just do it! I promise you'll learn a ton and better perfect your Multi-Pure sales pitch as you meet with people and talk about our products. Try mixing up what kind of crowd you're targeting to include "green" expos, college career fairs, home shows, and health fairs. Just get out there and try it!

Fun swimming pool or parasite soup? Ahhhh, summer time. Sunshine, watermelon, a relaxing day at the pool...
A swimming pool can offer loads of fun, as well as relief from summer heat, but swimmers should know what they are jumping into. It could be a soup of nasty parasites.
Reports of gastrointestinal illness from use of public pools and water parks have risen sharply in recent years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The leading culprit is a microscopic organism that lives in human feces. DISGUSTING!! Called cryptosporidium, it is a parasite transmitted in an egglike shell that can survive as long as 10 days even in chlorinated water. EESH.
In 2007, the last year for which statistics are available, it was responsible for 31 recreational water outbreaks involving 3,726 people, according to the disease centers up from 7 outbreaks and 567 people in 2004.
Thanks to Multi-Pure, you no longer have to worry about cryptosoridium getting into your drinking water. Crypto is one of the many contaminants that our filters remove. Yay. Unfortunately, you're on your own when you choose to go to that neighborhood water park...

The notice hung at the Sugar Grove Diner Headlines like these, unfortunately, are not that rare. An article in the Bristol Herald Courier, written by Daniel Gilbert last Friday reminded us that citizens can not always trust their city water.
The Rye Valley Water Authority has advised consumers that its water source has been contaminated with surface water, opening it up to risks of contamination by organisms that cannot be treated with chlorine only.
“State Health Officials feel there is need for concern about the safety of your drinking water,” the authority released in a notice. The concern, as described in the notice, is that inadequately treated water may contain such disease-causing organisms as bacteria, viruses and parasites, known to induce nausea, cramps, diarrhea and headaches.
The notice states, in all bold and capital letters: UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, CONSUMERS ARE ADVISED TO BRING THEIR DRINKING WATER TO A ROLLING BOIL FOR ONE MINUTE BEFORE CONSUMPTION.
The revelation has apparently led to the closing of the Sugar Grove Diner, a popular breakfast joint, which blames the Rye Valley Water Authority for its inability to comply with state health standards.
How safe is YOUR city water? Using a Multi-Pure drinking water system can definitely provide some peace of mind. Multi-Pure filters can reduce a wider range of contaminants than other filters, based on Standard 53 NSF certification! Among that list is chlorine, which municipalities use to treat their water but which is also harmful to your health.
In a word, Multi-Pure rocks.

Multi-Pure distributors extraordinaire Dave Dickey and Ed Amerault Tis the season to be outside at festivals, county fairs and swap meets! If you've never tried setting up a booth to sell Multi-Pure products, you're really missing out on a great experience! Sure, it can be a lot of work, but it can also be extremely profitable!
This picture was taken last summer at the LA County fair where a Multi-Pure booth has graced the fairgrounds for over 20 years. There are as many different ways to decorate a Multi-Pure booth as there are distributors, but I wanted you to see this particular photo because it showcases a very effective tool: the yuck tank.
The yuck tank immediately got its name when the first customer looked at it and said "Yuck!" The next thing out of the customer's mouth is exactly why you should consider using one at your next booth...."What's that?!"
It's the perfect way to introduce Multi-Pure! To show how effective Multi-Pure filters are, you simply toss a CB6 or EF8 filter into an aquarium filled with dirty water and yuckage (dirt, coffee grinds, dirty sock, banana peel, etc). Add a tube and allow the clean water to flow into another clear container below.
This simple display at your booth will always get customers to stop and look, allowing you time to begin a conversation with them about what they're using to get clean, pure water into their home. If you really want to catch their attention, let them see you drink the clean water right out of the tube! Pretty impressive visual aid, eh?
Multi-Pure has several banners, signs, and sales aids for purchase that you can use at your booth. Remember, we will also provide you with some free material (30% of the price you spend to rent your booth) through our Public Exhibit and Support Program (see our Business Guide for more details).

Contact is Key…so says one of our top distributors, Marilyn Moll. Marilyn has been one of our successful distributors in our Founder's Circle and she has the following great advice for other distributors who would like to see their business grow:
"I think it is key to have good product knowledge and keep in regular touch with your customers and prospects. Did you know you can get a list of your customers and/or your second level distributors from Multi-Pure? It is only $5 per list and 1¢ per name (if printing labels). Call Multi-Pure for details.
How do you contact your past customers? You can send them a post card!
(Multi-Pure has several on line www.multipureco.com/BusinessGuide/postcards.htm)
Or drop them an email or even give them a call! Let them know about new products like the Emergency Kit or our current specials - Gift with Purchase. Also, make sure they are replacing their filters every year. Just be sure to keep in contact.
Your past customers are a great source of referrals, try to contact them at least once a year."

We've been gathering some "tips for success" from a few of our top distributors lately and today I thought I'd share some advice from Jeff Breakey, one of our Executive National Network Directors. He has been building his Multi-Pure business for quite a few years now and has seen some great success grow from small, consistent efforts. Here is what he wanted to share with you today:
"Attitude, Focus and Persistence are the keys to real success.
Understanding that it takes 2 to 3 years of serious focused work,
treating this as a real business as you maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude will pay off with BIG rewards! A few smart, motivated business people will follow your lead and build their Multi-Pure business just as you are.
It takes TIME for this to happen, so be patient and persistent!
After just 2 to 3 years (sponsoring at least one new MP distributor per month), you will have a solid foundation and a business that can begin to multiply, providing a great residual income.
In this world of "instant everything" we tend to expect things to happen
really fast and without much work, but successful people in business know that it takes time and effort to build a strong foundation and a serious income. So get excited, get fully committed for the long term and build a bright future as you help others do the same."
