Multi-Pure is celebrating 40 years of improving people's health and wellness!

We have the most amazing distributors here at Multi-Pure. I just received this very sweet letter from Deanna DeLong, one of our former "National Distributor of the Year" award recipients:

"Dear Customers and Distributors,

I’d like to tell you about one of my most loved distributors. Her name is Dorothy Powell, and I met her for the first time when she was 85 years old. David’s brother, John Feinauer, sold her a filter. Dorothy was an amazing woman. She had scoliosis, and had a huge growth on her back, so she walked kind of hunched over. She always had a smile and never complained, even though she had constant pain. She wore a wig with brown hair, because she didn’t like her gray hair.

She had more enthusiasm than anyone I ever met! I went over to her house to help her change her filter and we began a friendship that lasted till she died at age 93. Dorothy was always having people over to her home. She’d offer a glass of water. “Isn’t that great water? Would you like to see why?” She would bring them into her kitchen and open the cabinet so that they could see the Multi-Pure. Next thing you know, she would be writing up an order!

She took a fall at age 90, and her daughter decided she should go into a retirement center. She called me, very distressed, because the water was terrible. I went over and we tried to hook up a countertop unit in her bathroom, but couldn’t because there were no threads on the sink. For six months, every week I brought her water, until finally they changed out the faucet so that we could hook up her Multi-Pure.

The week after we hooked it up, she called to inform me that she had another sale. Her next door neighbor, who was 85, wasn’t drinking enough water and Dorothy had been giving her water every day. She finally convinced her that she needed to buy one. I went out and we hooked up a filter for her friend Helen. That was six years ago. Helen is still alive at 91, and I go change her filter every year.

I’m grateful every day for the opportunities I have to serve with Multi-Pure. It isn’t just about sales, but about helping people have a better quality of life. Dorothy is one of those. She was my dear dear friend and she “got it.” She knew how important water is to good health and had to share it with those she loved.
