A federal judge's ruling last month that the law which directs the president to proclaim a National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional has not diminished the enthusiasm of the faithful across the country.
Today is the National Day of Prayer and we know that many of our Multi-Pure distributors and customers are participating.
The National Day of Prayer was created by a congressional resolution in 1952 and signed into law by President Harry Truman. It has no government funding, and organizing is left to private groups. President Barack Obama, whose administration is appealing the ruling, has urged citizens to "pray, or otherwise give thanks" for the nation's freedom and blessings.
We do want to give thanks and are truly grateful for the many blessings we enjoy: loyal customers, access to clean water, hard-working distributors, and the privilege we have had of sharing our message with the world for the past 40 years. We are especially grateful that, despite these difficult economic times, that Multi-Pure is growing and continues to have a very bright future.
We pray for your health and happiness this day as well!
